Aptum Legal is a boutique litigation firm specialising in commercial and tax dispute resolution. Aptum has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and an established client based across Australia. Aptum was established to challenge the accepted norms, practices and traditional behaviours of commercial litigation, and has since grown to be recognised as ‘Boutique Firm of the Year’.
Aptum’s litigation model has been designed to improve the experience and outcomes for clients in commercial and tax disputes and is based around four foundational pillars:
(1) an exclusive focus on commercial and tax disputes, creating excellence craft and eliminating conflicts that can exist in traditional models;
(2) a range of scope and pricing options tailored to the needs of each client, including value-based, fixed fee pricing for complex disputes;
(3) a rigorous legal intelligence framework to assess the legal and commercial risk of each dispute, conducted early to ensure our clients are positioned for the best possible outcomes;
(4) a bespoke project management system, combing Agile, Lean and other traditional methodologies for an approach tailored to executing complex commercial and tax disputes.
