Given QCL’s size Aimee has been able to have influence in all aspects of the firm’s operation and regularly comes up with smart ideas to improve the firm’s processes and its bottom line profitability.
She is also much admired by the staff for her sense of fair play and negotiating win-win outcomes for all stakeholders.

Marcus has practiced law in central Auckland for 30 years. He speaks Indonesian.
He has acted on some of the largest real estate deals in NZ and his team have probably acted on more successful business migration cases than any other firm in the country.
With reference to management of the practice Marcus has instilled a culture of transparency and respect in the firm and adopted a “no dickheads” philosophy like the ABs. “Generally we all row the waka the same way and we are constantly refining our processes with critical analysis and insight which keeps us match fit and on top of our game,” Marcus said.

QCL has a reputation for taking a "no-nonsense approach" to complex cases. The firm has taken on a number of high-value matters in the property, construction and immigration areas of specialisation over the last year, and also engaged with high-level lobbyists to influence government decisions around business migration and other matters.
The firm is agile and operates as a very tight team collectively enjoying the success it achieves.
