The majority of Cecilia's career has been spent in management of professional services firms, including as COO of PwC New Zealand, COO at Bell Gully in New Zealand, Business Development Director at Minter Ellison in Australia and heading business development teams for Linklaters in both Hong Kong and London. Cecilia has developed a broad range of skills in building and managing teams, creating and implementing strategy alongside boards and management teams, working with client teams to help manage their client relationships, and working on diversity, inclusion and sustainability initiatives and in the operational management of professional services firms. Staff appreciate having a CEO of Cecilia’s calibre to speak with, who knows the firm inside and out but isn’t someone they directly report to. “They can share ideas and views with me in a very open way,” Cecilia says. “I have a vested interest in them succeeding, so that’s helpful too.”
